Show Notes

Have you ever dealt with a parent who refused to see that their child needed more support inside the classroom?  It's not easy and can be super frustrating as a teacher.

Today, I want to give you three specific ways to help you handle those objections without feeling like you want to give up on the child.

  1. Lean on Support
  2. Don't give up on the student, no matter the circumstances
  3. Go back to your "why"

We dive into these three strategies to help you get through those tough times. As teachers, we need to stay grounded and we need to continue to have professional and meaningful relationships with our students' families even when disagreements come up.
